A Girl and a Bird

Hello! I come this day offering more recent digital art!

This girl I passed on the street one day. I think what struck me most about her was the denim jacket skateboard combo. Normally I don't associate those two things. Perhaps I'm out of touch?

Here is a sweet cockatiel inspired by the dozens upon dozens of cute bird videos I consume on a regular basis. Do I have a problem? No. I have a PASSION.

Until next time!

Inktober 2017

Ah yes. Inktober 2017. I fell off the wagon very quickly that year.

Colour Art Catch Up

I present to you, dear visitor, some older digital art!

Here is a friend of mine as an air bender

An art trade

 And a couple other things!

That's all for now!

Commuter Caricatures (and more!)

If you follow my tumblr you would have seen these already. However I've compiled them into one post for potential people passing by to see.

When I was commuting an hour to work I would often doodle on the train. Mostly it would be other passengers, but occasionally other random stuff too.

Inktober 2016

In the spirit of Inktober 2017, I'll post some of the ones I did for 2016!

How far will I get this year? Only time will tell! You can check out my progress on my Tumblr or Twitter!

Hello 2017

I'm still kickin'!

And here is something that ISN'T an art trade!

Another Art Trade!

This character belongs to Cherry.

I believe I started this when it was still wintery out and I really wanted it to be summer.

Art trades

It's been awhile.

I'm sorry I've deprived the internet of drawings of tortoise's for so long.

Here are a couple of not tortoise's:

Art trades are great because they motivate me to actually finish what I'm working on (even though I've been "working" on one for well over a month now. I'm busy! I'll finish it!). With these I really wanted... backgrounds.

As well as these, I've been doing mostly transit sketches. You won't see those though. Because I STILL haven't replaced my scanner.

AND WITH THAT, I sleep.

Tortoise

"Hello Lea, you haven't posted in awhile! What have you been drawing lately?"

Tortoises. Just... Tortoises.

Eyebrow Cat

I drew this. Then remembered to post it right now.

Small Sketchbook Drawings

I bought myself a small sketchbook awhile ago. Here are some things from it:

Art Dump

I just went through a couple of my most recent sketchbooks and scanned a bunch of things. For the fun.

Some cafe sketches from summer.

Some doodles and such just for fun.

Princess Tutu characters in a different style.

Playing around with marker and pencil crayon.

Cheers!

Skater

I should really work on being neater. And other things.

Duck, Duck, Tutu

For funsies:

I'm kind of a big fan of Princess Tutu (don'tmakefunofme) and enjoy translating the characters into my style. Or something kind of like my style.

I do like faces

Anyone else feel most inspired to draw when you should be writing an essay?

Korra ATC's

My first go at traditional media in awhile, so naturally these are PRETTY gross. Anyway if anyone feels like offering up an ATC in exchange for one that would be rad. Otherwise into my binder they go!

I was going to go on about going to TCAF, and all the awesome stuff I got, and how other people should check it out too, but it was boring to write. Just go yourself and have awesome times, people!

Mako

Mako from Legend of Korra. Requested by Winona!

Animals? Animals!

In preparation for developing some new characters for Professor Alpaca to interact with, I've been practicing drawing animals! So far I've looked at pigs, goats, and donkeys, and have early designs for the pig and goat characters. Here is the Professor beside two of his pupils:

They are supposed to be... in... scale... to one another (what am I trying to saaaaaay). I'm not sure how big goats/pigs/alpacas are compared to each another, so more research is needed there. The unnamed goat and pig are likely to change a bit. Also Professor Alpaca is getting more fluff on his face, which almost looks like sideburns. Heeee.
